Darshan Rana, the recently appointed state president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Jammu, received a warm welcome from party workers at Ambedkar Chowk. Upon arriving in Jammu, Rana led a grand rally from the Railway Station to Ambedkar Chowk, where he paid homage to Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Expressing gratitude to BSP’s National President, Mayawati, Rana pledged to diligently fulfill his responsibilities and advance the Bahujan movement in the region. He emphasized the need to address the concerns of overlooked families in Jammu and Kashmir and vowed to work for the welfare of all societal segments.
Rana also honored the late former president, Somraj, pledging to follow his path in strengthening BSP’s presence in the region.
Urging party members to gear up for upcoming elections, Rana highlighted the significance of their collective efforts. The event saw the presence of notable party workers, including Charanjeet Chargotra, Hari Chand Thappa, Sashi Bushan Thappa, Gourav Tilak Raj Bhagat, Raja Singh, and Bishan Das Bhagat.
