The JK Truck Operators Welfare Union announces the resumption of transportation operations after the successful completion of a 48-hour shutdown. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation extended by all stakeholders during this period.
2- Formation of All Transport Union Representatives in Upcoming Days
In the forthcoming days, the JK Truck Operators Welfare Union aims to facilitate the formation of collective representatives encompassing all transport unions. This initiative seeks to foster unity, streamline communications, and collectively address pertinent issues affecting the transport sector.
3- Suspension of Operations Contingent on Hit and Run Law Implementation
The Union expresses serious concern regarding the prospective implementation of the Hit and Run law. In the event of its implementation without due consideration of industry stakeholders’ perspectives, the JK Truck Operators Welfare Union may consider suspending all operations as a measure of protest and to safeguard the interests of its members.
